Morgenhof Wine Estate, situated on the slopes of the Simonsberg mountains outside Stellenbosch, falls under the Simonsberg appellation. This area is renowned for the production of the highest quality grapes producing top quality wines. At the end of 1998, Morgenhof was granted "Estate", status.

South African artist, Piet Grobler, provides an illustration of iridescent beauty. The majestic tail plumage emulates the extravagance of flavour found in a bottle of Fantail. Morgenhof Cellar is situated on the fertile slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain, just outside Stellenbosch.

The bird's beauty and exuberance is reflected in the character of the range of wines, which includes a rose, a white and three red wines. The essence of the wines is as bold and distinctive as the eye-catching fantasy bird which graces the Fantail label.
